OWG sneakers vs. Flip flops

Hello ladies:
Just curious. My photographer is suggesting that I wear sneakers to OWG but I was thinking maybe a platform flip flop would be better. I have to buy shoes for wedding and garden footwear and I have to get a move on as my first fitting is March 21. Any suggestions??? Also, what shoe stores do you recommend in Nassau or Queens. thanks a million!!!!!

i would say that you will be fine with flip flops as long as it doesnt rain close or ON your day... my best friend took her pics there for her wedding and it had rained the day before and we got pretty muddy on our feet!! there was even a limo stuck in the mud to another wedding party!!
