OWWWWW!!!! (pinched nerve)

So with 23 days until the wedding, I have this awful pain in my upper left arm

Its really awful, I can't sit still, I can't lie down, I can't do anything.

And there's sooooooo much that needs to be done right now!

Went to the doctor yesterday, he took some xrays and thinks it might be a pinched nerve in my neck causing all the pain.

I can go the chiropractor route (my uncle recommended his) ...

Or I can start with spine specialists and other docs like that, maybe a cortizone shot will help?

I am in a ton of pain (typing with my right hand) ... and really afraid that I won't be able to enjoy my bachelorette party next weekend or more importantly my wedding that is coming up so soon.

Anyone ever been through this before??????

I have a pinched nerve in my lower back right now. Everyone is teasing us that we had too much sex on our honeymoon because it started right when we got home. Even the Dr. asked my husband what he did to me?

He put me on a muscle relaxer and a pain pill and it is still sore. I could hardly walk for the first week back. He told me I would probably need to do some physical therapy.
I would definitely try the chiropractor route and see if that helps. I might actually do that too if I don't get better in a couple of days.

yes... except the *pinched nerve* was in my lower back...

and the ppinched nerve in my lower back was actually tumors growing on my spinal chord and caused me ALOT OF PAIN and to lose feeling in my legs.

get an MRI right away.

talk to your doctor and see what s/he says

I have that problem--it's in on my left side though.

For me, stress and cold trigger it.

Did they give you muscle relaxers? That might help a little, but go get it checked out anyway.

I had this happen twice, both times I visited a Chiropractorand it got better rather quickly.

omg hugs hugs hugs. I had a herniated disc 2 years ago and the disc was pressing on the sciatic nerve, it was CONSTANT 24/7 pain even with vicodin. NOTHING HELPED til I had the disc surgery, and to date, I have not had ANY ANY ANY back pain. I am SOOOO Sorry!!! try the PT or the chiro, I hope you get some relief soon!!! It is the WORST WORST thing ever...
