So my mom can flake sometimes and forget things... BUT I am mad really mad this time. I posted about a month and a half ago about my mom going grocery shopping and totally forgetting that we were going to go dress shopping for me that day, and we have still not gone yet. Now here is the latest.... We made plans with my MOH to go dress shopping for the BP next saturday and I was talking to mom before and she says,,, 'oh no I can't I made plans with ((( name of moms friend here))) to go camping for the weekend!
I am going with out her. She wanted to be involved and I am working with her for when she can go... and then she cancells on me for the 2nd time!

maybe the best thing you can do is to go without her.. maybe she will feel bad and get her act together!!
I hope so.. cause that really stinks.. its suppose to be an enjoyable thing!

I hope sooo!! I understand that it is summer and such, but when she is the one asking me to go.... and she picked the date out!!!! UGH!!!

Yes there is, her mom (my grandma who I adore) and my other bridesmaids. It is just that my MOM is the one who has been itching to go!!

You should go with grandma and the BM's!! I know you probably really want your mom there though. You should talk to her about how messed up it is that she keeps cancelling on something so important!

I can totally relate...some Mom's don't realize its an Appointment that you planned out...its not easy to coordinate everyone for the same day /time. She should realize but I know my mom was like - lets just go there...last time we were in the car to go to Bridal Reflections she wanted to make like four stops on the way there one of them was Target and grocery shopping! I was like NO its an appt you have to get there on time! Needless to say we were a half hour late and the ladies were like well we're closing soon so you can just browse...than I think she got the picture.

I sooo understand. My mom was like that with me too. I had to finally recruite my aunts and use a little guilt and she came along. Don't give up - if she doesn't want to be there than go without her, that way you won't have negativity around you when your trying such a special dress on.

Thank you ladies! I do really want her there and I have officially recruited my Aunt and Grandma, besides my MOH to go with me. I think my mom knows my fustration and will be coming. I think she really just has a lot on her plate and forgot,,,, again
