Has anyone ever done a package wedding where everything is included (limos, flowers, photography, etc)??? If so where did you or are you getting married? Do you recommend this?

I think I heard that Mediterranean Manor in Patchogue also does them.

Re: Package Weddings
Mediterranean Manor, Brentwodd CC, Arianna Waterfall, and Manor East all have inclusive packages. It couldn't hurt to check it out and person and see what you think plus if you do like it, you will save so much money.

Keep in mind though that if its this great deal..you may get what you pay for. I've heard horror stories about these 'package deals'. I'm sure they aren't all bad, but just be aware!

My sister did it here. Just dont use their photographer! Otherwise everything else was good!

The Sterling does this. It wasn't our style, but it does seem like a rather nice place.

Re: Package Weddings
I know you already have your RH but I believe Douglaston Manor has a package as well.
As far as vendors. I know Regal Limo in Rockville Center does video, photo, limo, and DJ as a package. Not sure what the price is though.

Re: Package Weddings
Hi. I am getting married in Euphoria in Brooklyn, NY. They have a package of food, invitations, flowers, band, limo and cake. The band I believe sings in English, Russian and I think another language. Hope this helps.

Re: Package Weddings
Been to a few places and couldn't book b/c our list grew...but it makes sense with this economy and to be honest... some had GREAT food and were pretty nice. Brentwood CC... my top choice for these (not off main road, on golf course and 1 wedding at a time - they close the club to members when wedding is on also)
Douglaston Manor - FH's top choice Great deals...not one at a time though
Beach Club Estate...really pretty outside, on lake, koi pond...reasonable pricing, but our group was too large for it.
Med Manor had good food and good vendors.
Gennaro's in brooklyn has good food and vendors
There is absolutely nothing wrong with doing this. It makes life a bit easier too.
Happy planning!

Re: Package Weddings
be careful with all inclusive packages because you will end up spending more money most of the time since everything that comes with your package is as basic as you can get. i would say if you go with something like this, don't use the included photographer. don't skimp of pics because in the end, that's all you have to remember your wedding. Also, make sure that you can cut certain vendors if you do not want to use them and you will be given a credit for that! just be careful. i visited Brentwood Country Club and although I thought it was very nice there, I was not too thrilled about the basics I got in the package because the prices were deceiving.

You have a point... read what you get, but you can always find your own vendor for something and they give you credit off your total. You should always read your contract and meet with their vendors to discuss what is included exactly. They are basic...but it helps when you're tight on cash. If the service is good...you can always go back for albums later. HTH
