Packing for Hawaii....

What should I pack??? I am going June 3rd. Does it get cold at night? Do I need to dress up for dinner every night or is it really casual there (someone told me it was....they said I could wear flip flops everywhere, is that true?) I want to start shopping now since all the new spring stuff is out.

It gets a little breezy at night but honestly its still really warm so you dont really need any warm clothes at all. At night we always dressed up and so did everyone else for dinner especially at resturants when we were in oahu. But you can always dress down and wear flip flops if your going to eat at some place casual.

people are pretty casual there. i don't remember too many people getting dressed up for dinner, but you can if you want. Can get chilly at night, so bring a sweater/shrug or something. beautiful and 80's during the day.

I lived in Hawaii for a year. It is very casual. I was a teacher and I could wear flip flops to work. You can definitely bring some nice stuff for dinner if you want to, but it's not a necessity. Cute sun dresses and skirts w/tanks are pretty much what i lived in. In June it's very warm. Even at night you'll be fine in a skirt and tank. Maybe bring 1 light jacket just in case.

Bathing suits, shorts, snorkel gear and sandals. Very casual, very fun!

I can't wait to start packing for Hawaii. Since all the spring stuff is coming out I am starting to pick up some things now. I got some summer dresses to wear to dinner and I may wear nice capris w/ a dressy tank.

it is very casual there. you really can wear flip flops to even the fanciest restaurants. i love hawaii!!!!!!!!!
