Re: paging michele31

No problem at all. Ask away.
Stef is doing brass numbers on her tables, that will be wired into her centerpieces.
She wanted to name her tables but many of her FH's family only really speak Italian so she felt that might be difficult for them.
I am doing (stolen from Claud2001) table name cards. Since my FH's hobby and first love is baseball, visiting stadiums around the US and photography, I am 'letting' name our tables after baseball stadiums. Scott has been working very hard at putting together 8x10 collages of each of his favorite stadiums with a brief history. We will then print them on our photo printer and bring them to Kinkos for mounting. The mounted photos will have a flap in the back so we can put them on the tables.
Other ideas have been to name the tables after flowers. Claud named her tables after places she and Jeff had been, complete with photos and a history of their vist.

Also, Stef is giving away brass ornaments so the brass numbers match her tables.

Re: paging michele31

Like Michele explained in her post, we named our tables after places Jeff and I had traveled together. We used photographs that we took during our visit and wrote a very brief history of why we went there and what we did. It was very personal and romantic, and helped our guests get to know our relationship and why we fell in love.

Here's a photo of one of the cards. Let me know if you have any questions:
