Paging Nan&dave

Hi,
I see that we are getting married at the same church. Do you know if their are any restrictions regarding wearing a strapless gown? I'm afraid to ask, since I've already purchased my gown.

Hi. I don't know. I'll be calling the deacon at lunch time, so I'll find out for you.
Congrats on your engagement.

Re: Paging Nan&dave

I called the church and they told me that it all depends on the person that is marrying you. So, I guess you're going to have to call. The number is (516)378-0665. Good luck.

At our first meeting. He made no mention of it. I'll ask anyway. Thanks for your help.

Lately I've been thinking a lot about the ceremony. Are you having a full mass? We are having one. At pre cana they gave us a book with several different verses to choose from. It's exhasuting reading them all. Do they allow rose petals? Are you having a large bridal party? I am having seven girls

We're not having a full mass, even though we were told that they run about the same time. I have no idea about the rose petals, cause I wanted bubbles. Daves' sister used them two years ago, and they didn't say no. I think I'm having the same amount as you (bridal party), but I'm so tired that I can't even remember.
About the verses, I have no idea since we haven't started pre-cana yet. When did they call you to start attending? Do they ask you 'personal' questions?

Re: Paging Nan&dave

Father Rick suggested that we attend pre cana as soon as possible. We attended a weekend seminar (Sat and Sun 9-4 pm). There were 15 couples in attendance. It consisted of primarily lectures (finance, family planing, religion etc.) We were given booklets with questions that we answered individually, exhanged and read each others responses. There were no questions asked individually.
