I have a toy poodle that kinda looks like yours!! This is when he was only like 2 months old, I have to take a more recent one to show you! HIs name is Murphy! I just had to show you!
He actually figured out how to open his crate and then go over to his sisters crate and open hers!!!
Murphy is ADORABLE!!! Little guy has a strip of apricot down his back!!

Little guy is 1 year 5 months.. I went into Pet Barn in Franklin Square to get some dog treats for my other dog, and he was the last of the dogs they had and he looked SOO cute, so i bought him!!
I got him fixed last April.. he started really going at it so i had no choice.. plus i heard that it makes them less aggressive later on and it prevents some kind of cancer...it was one day in and out, you just have to watch that they dont bite the stiches.. do you have murphy fixed?

No we dont but i really need too..we have a terrier as well (the nutty dog) and he goes after him all the time! We bought murphy at puppy palace across from north shore in port washington. It was the same for me. Went in there for something else for a dog we already had and he was there in a cage and omg it was love at first sight!!!!!!!!!
My mom wound up buying him as our engagement gift..he was 700!!!! How much was yours?? BUt sooooo worth it!!!!!!!!! Is he totally trained??

They dog at pet barn was 795.00 and the guy was REALLY trying to get rid of him because he stopped selling the dogs and he was the only one left. I knew frank didnt want another dog, so sarcastically i said i wont pay a penny over 400.00 and he gave him to me!! then i used my debit card and made him take a dollar off the sale cause i knew the bank would charge a dollar for the transacation! Im a tough customer!! LOL
He goes to the bathroom outside, but if i dont watch him hell pee anywhere, and i have to keep him crated when i am not home cause hell go EVERYWHERE.. but not in his crate.. he is spiteful cause he peed on my bed, and the other day climbed on the chair where my coat was and peed on it!! LITTLE BUGGER!! i could have killed him!! but he is so dam cute i couldnt!! LOL
Is murphy trained?? if so HOW DID YOU DO IT!! LOL im thinking of getting home training for him soon.

We have a cage for murphy although we leave him out during the day now with the other one and he has gotten better. But its the same thing, he pees everywhere if we dont watch him. We have to walk him like every 2 hours on the weekends. And when the other one sees him doing this, it gets him started too. Im worried though cause we want to buy a new sofa and these guy r used to sleeping and jumping on this old one we have and I dont know if i can train him not to go on the new one, especially during the day and Ill die if he pees on that. Murphy too has been known to pee on the bed so now the door has to be closed at all times! Murhy wont pee in his cage either...smart ass!
BUt arent they worth the trouble? So adorable!

Oh they SOOO are!!! lol.. ihad the same problem with my big one and i had her trained by NSAL..it worked GREAT!!! never went in the house again!

it was expensive, but yes the do that its like basic training,. with housebreaking, i think its like 340.00 for the 4 week course and then it goes up.. but thats average for inhome training,,, and plus id rather give my money to NSAL that anyone else.. It really worked and my trainer was EXCELLENT!! his name was Matt, thats who we are gonna use again..

Oh, yea north shore as well as other places like petco offers training for 7 weeks at 79.00 or 99.00 for lifetime.. but that is not going to help the housebreaking, they have to come to your house for that.. but it will definatly help obeidiance...
