Pain in my back....

Its just under my ribs in the back.Anyone ever get this? Does it sound like a pulled muscle?
Since the dr doesn't call me back,I have to figure out what's wrong myself!!!!!!

Well, if it's right under your ribs in your back, then it's your kidney.

Is the pain severe? The size of a stone can determine how much pain you are in, but if it gets lodged, the pain tends to stop..but there is still slight discomfort. If you press on your back in the area of the pain..is it tender?? Do you feel like there is a bruise?

I keep asking hubby to massage it.When he touches it,it feels like a bruise but it feels better to get massaged. I have passed a kidney stone years ago and the pain was excrutiating.
This pain is just an annoyance like a dull aching that just won't go away.

That really sounds like a kidney stone. It may be a very small one...just starting on it's way down.

Start drinking a ton of water, like non-stop. Drink until you float...and call the urologist if you can. Or, if you can, try another general doctor if you're not ready to do the urologist thing.
