pain in the butt sister...

Okay so my pain in the butt sister who just built like a million dollar house is being really cheap about the flower girl dresses. I have 2 nieces and i found really cute flower dresses for $81 dollars each. see below


And so i sent her the link to check out the dresses and she emails me back a picture of the dresses they wore in a wedding like a year ago. First off... they're 6 and 7 and in 10 months (which would make those dresses almost 2 years old) won't those dresses not fit properly? Second... THEY'RE UGLY!!! Well in my opinion anyway. see below...


She says that the link i sent her and their dresses are almost the same. NO THEY'RE NOT. Granted she says those flowers are removable... but they're not at all the same fabric or quality. Keep in mind my sister has no fashion sense.

I mean $81 dollars... am i asking too much? Is she expecting me to pay for them?

$81 is cheap considering my FG's dress is almost as much as my BM dresses!!! (The FG dress is $120, the BMs are $180)

i think its a great price- but some things arent worth fighting over

the kids will look adorable no matter what they wear so try ot find a cheaper dress
and old ugly dress should not even be an option

$81 is very reasonable. I've seen some FG dresses that cost more than my dress. Tell your sister you insist on those dresses. Or if you want, you two could go shopping together and find a dress you both like.

An old dress that you are unhappy with it out of the question. I agree that the girls will look cute in whatever they wear, if it doesn't bother you to look for a cheaper dress, then you can try that, but I wouldn't go crazy over it. If you definitely want this dress though, then I'd tell your sister, this is the one and be done with it.

Tell her this is the dress you want. If it were me, I'd offer to pay for one of them. Maybe she'll realize she's being an idiot. Bring to her attention that this is your wedding and these girls will be in all the pics and the video wearing these dresses.
