if you have the ones w/ three little squares
you can cut along the bottom to take the name of the color away and write letters in the box

They won't charge- they get them for free anyway from the paint companies.

That is such a cool idea...especially for a new home. You can use the colors that you painted the walls as a backdrop for the new pics of the house.

Is it dangerous to use these though? Doesn't everything have to be acid-free?

I know some pages neutralize it...will it do it to this?

ETA: I'd want to cut the names away too...I just think it looks funny with the names of the paint chips on it....it makes it look like...paint chips.

To each his own on using the paint chips.

You can buy a spray...very expensive...and spray the chips before you put them in your album.

You can live life on the edge and put them in your album, and hope that in 50 years they do not ruin your album.

Or you can not use them and ONLY use acid free stuff in your album.

LEave the names on or take them off...that is TOTALLY up to you!

Lisa, I get the distinct feeling that you were offended by my very innocent comment that I didn't care to have the names of paint colors next to pictures. Now, I apologize if this offended you, but it's just an opinion. You really have to take this less seriously and chill...it's a scrapbook.
