ok...i am painting my living room/dining room the same....dark on the bottom, chair rail, the lighter on top. i REALLY want to paint my ceilings the same color as the top of the wall. its not a dark color. but DH is scared it will seem to dark. would a lighter, thrid color form the swatch be too many colors to paint?

Our bedroom we have all the same color even on the ceiling...we were a bit nervous at first but it looks GREAT and we have gotten so mant compliments on it. I say go for it...it is just paint

we did the same light color in our living room....it has cathedral ceilings and came out great!!
