painting my toasting flutes...added another craft to the list

I decided to make our parents/MOH/Best Man toasting glasses special. I am going to paint their names and butterflies on them.
Some ideas...

Never painted glass before, but I figured I'd try and it'll be nicer than anything I could buy

Yeah, I am dying to start all my projects (wreaths, unity candle, CD favors, placecard candles, my mom is making my pocketbook & card sachels & hopefully make ones for BMs too, card box, butterflies on table #, menus, programs, wrapped my e-party favors & c-pieces my self, making flowergirls basket, head wreath & a bunny/butterfly doll, and decorating her butterfly wings to wear.)
I love crafts!!!

wreaths? what kind?

oh well I am making one for the e-party with our names on it. Butterflies, our colors (that will then be used on the house the day of the wedding).
Then I got 2 heart shaped ones, for each door at the church and will have each of our First Name initial on it. (I love to make wreaths.)
then will bring them to reception and put on our chairs. (when have house they will go in bedroom)

That is sooo cool that you are creative enough to do that!! I wish I can do stuff like that! I would probably ending breaking the glasses!

We'll see. I hope that by the time the wedding comes (next year) I will finally have a digital camera. Or else Mom will be shooting away for me to post everything I can't wait to share!!!!

-Jenn

I have painted glass before...it's not that hard...just make sure you have a good grip on the glass!!!

that is really nice!
also use paint made for glass so it won't wash off. Like folk art enamels, or permenamel.
I'm painting my favors (terra cotta flower pots). It's nice when you add a personalized touch to your wedding.
