Looks like we all share something in common! We are getting married April 26, 2003 too!! It's so exciting to hear about other brides getting married the same day! Hopefully we can exchange info on what we are doing etc..!!

How's your planning coming so far? We've go a DJ, photographer and videographer. I've picked out my dress, but haven't ordered it yet. How about you?

That is really exciting..so far the place is Flowerfields..the band is Code Blue...the photographer is martin wilard...no florist yet..I did make a decision on my dress it is custom made but we are not starting to make it yet...that is about it.....do you guys have any ideas on a honeymoon??

We choose Tommy's Tunes for the DJ and george Pliakis for the photo and video. We're going to Hawii for the honeymoon. We're spending a week in Maui and a week on another island which I can't remember at this point since my FH is planning it. This was the one thing he agreed to take on himself! Good luck with planning. Let me know how everything is going

Sorry I only saw the post today - I haven't been on the board in a while. So April 26, 2003 it is! How exciting to see people with the same date.

I have my dress, the bridesmaids dresses, the reception hall (John Anthonys), photographer/videographer (Michael O'Neill), and Church (St. Cyrils). We also have completed pre-cana - a one day torture session.

I think our next booking will be DJ. We are thinking of doing a Southern Carribean cruise for the honeymoon. Have any of you done cruises there or can recommend cruise lines. Everyone seems to be pointing me to Royal Carribean.

Well I'm a litte behind in planning!! lol I haven't gone dress shopping yet, but I know what I want bridesmaids to be... we booked photographer, ADA Studios, DJ, Catering hall, and church... still looking for florist and trying to figure out if we want a video! I do but I don't know if we have enough $$!! We are in the process of booking our honeymoon, and for awhile it was going to be Disney, but we are probably going to book a cruise to the western caribbean on Princess.. I did a lot of research and found the BEST price!! It's called National Discount Cruises I think... I have the phone # if anyone wants it! They were amazing! My whole family has used them, and the guy was on the phone with me for over a 1/2 hour telling me all about the ports, etc..... definitely sounds like someone you want to do business with! But other than that I guess I better get moving on some more wedding stuff!! :)

Kitten79, I don't think you're that far behind, I haven't ordered my dress yet, and I only have ideas for bridesmaid dresses, nothing very specific, other than that I have the same amount done as you. We're going to Hawii for our honeymoon, we have a hotel, but no flight yet, we still have some time, I think!
I think its good that we're all on here so we can get a good idea of where we should be in our planning!

And don't worry - you're not behind at all. The only reason I have my bm dresses is that they were being discontinued at the end of May. As for my dress, my mother and I (just for the hell of it) went to try on dresses, and I ended up finding one I loved - the third one I tried on! The church was a no-brainer - it's my FH's. You're right where you should be...

We booked it last Monday! We are SO excited! We cannot wait to go! After MUCH planning, and researching we decided this was definitely the right choice! I actually spoke to a girl I know from high school and she went on her honeymoon this year on the same ship, the same dates we will go, with the same itinerary and LOVED it... so I felt really good about our decision... here's the info...

He gave us the best deal out of all the places and he will tell you EVERYTHING you need to know about the cruise, the ports, etc... His price was $1,000 cheaper than another travel agent I spoke to!! Let me know if you call him!

We are going to western caribbean....Princess Cays, Bahamas (private island), costa maya, cozumel, grand cayman and leaves out of Ft. Lauderdale

I left the info for my FH and he is going to call today. We are looking for Southern Carribean. Everyone seems to be leading me towards Royal Carribean for the cruise line to use. I'll be interested to hear what they recommend. I'll let you know how it turns out.
