For those of you who have a Poloma Blanca Bridal Gown is your dress color called Natural, silk satin material. If so, what color shirts will the Groom and GM be wearing???? I was told that if he wears a white shirt it will make the dress look dirty because the PB dress is not pure white. However, they will wear a vest and tie so not much of the shirt will be showing. FH is really upset about the ivory shirt. Help

I don't have a Paloma Blanca dress, but I just had this dilemma with a few tuxedo places this weekend. My dress is diamond white and basically they said wait until I have a swatch to compare because there are different shades of white and ivory. Do you have swatch yet?

Yes, I have a swatch. I actually got my dress at Paradise too. The only choice that we have for shirts is white or ivory. He is getting his tux at after hours because he has so many GM out of state.

Why is he upset baout the ivory?
No one will be able tell that it is ivory, but iof you don't match it will look off, and people will notice.
Also tell him, that noone is goign to be looking at him anyway!!!

I wore a Paloma Blanca wedding dress in the color you mentioned. I believe her dresses only come in 1 color. My male bridal party wore white shirts and it looked fine. Nothing looked 'dirty'. I would go with the white shirts, because the dress is not a true ivory. My shoes were white and so was the ribbon surrounding my flowers and it blended in great with the dress. The ivory ribbon looked very strange when I put it near my swatch.

ok, I went and compared. The ivory looks better. The difference between the shirts is very minimal. However, when you hold up the swatch to the white, the swatch looks discolored. The ivory blends better. Really the white is bright white and the ivory just seems to be toned down a bit. So, I guess ivory, still confused...... I really think I could probably go with either.
