Today I decied 95% on my dress.. a Paloma Blanca. Lillette's quoted me 250.00 for a 2 tier fingertip veil which I think is NUTS.
I'll be near the Tri County Flea Market (islander game tomorrow night) so I was going to stop and see what they have there.
Question is, what color, since the dress is colored 'natural'...
Ivory maybe? Would a white veil be the wrong color?
What color veils are other Paloma Blanca brides wearing?

Personally, I would wait until your dress comes in before you get a veil - that's what I am doing - I shouldn't have a problem b/c my dress is white - but does your dress come with any accessory? Mine comes with a shawl and pocketbook - you could always bring something like that with you!

Can you post a pic of the dress? It might help to see if what they consider to be 'natural' is what everyone else might consider ivory.

That sounds like a lot - I got a cathedral veil with a finger tip and blusher from Priscilla of Boston and I looked all over they are charging me 200$ and they are the softest veils I have seen. I looked all over the place and everyone's veils were very itchy and harsh

My dress was paloma blanca- color natural, and my veil was diamond white.
It was perfect.

It looks white until you hold it up to something white and you can tell it is not as bright.

I went to Tri-county today and ordered a veil.. yay.
A 2 tier fingertip (but I'm tall so it turns out its 40 inches long) diamond white with a satin ribbon edge.
50.00 was pretty good considering the 250.00 I was quoted at the bridal salon!

I have an even better update!
I went to Lillette's today and when they asked if I wanted the veil I told them that it was a little too steep for me.
They looked downstairs and had the same veil that had a little tear in it. They will cut off where the tear is (I will lose about 1 inch) and will re-edge it. I bargained and got the veil and the alterations for 100.00 When you consider I had a 50.00 coupon from Lillette's anyway, if you take that money off of the veil then it's the same price as Barrons.
