Re: Pampered Chef
Its great if you really are motivated. On the down side....the economy is really in a tuff situation now & don't think people want to spend money on unneccesary stuff. Sorry. Just my Opionion.

Definitely true.
I love pampered chef, as soon as I saw this post I started to drool and I got really happy -- like this lol
I have considered doing it , but I am always thinking about the circle of friends.
You do a friends party, you get maybe 1 or 2 people from them, out of those parties you may get 1 or 2 from those, what happens if you don't get any parties from one??
I went to a Tupperware party once, were NO ONE wanted to host lol I felt bad, but Its the same scenario.
I also think with the ecomony right now, no one is splurging if they don't have to. Just something to think about

Re: Pampered Chef
I love to cook and I love jewelry so I thought about doing Lia Sophia and/or Pampered Chef a while ago. I realized that it isn't as simple as it looks...it's actually a big commitment...you have to keep getting parties thrown and it's time consuming. I ended up changing my mind. I don't want to dissuade you if you really want to do it though....there is a girl I know who loves it and quit her FT job because she did so well with it....it just wasn't for me.

Kitchen supplies are not unneccessary. There is a lot of interest in the products still.

You do have to be motivated to do it. But the products also sell themselves. Either people love PC or don't know about the product. You can also ask coworkers and dh coworkers. My dh and I do it together and I have a great time. We also get a lot of the products at a huge discount.

I sell lia sophia and I can honestly say that the current economic situation has not impacted my business at all.

I sell Cookie Lee...and business is still good. the jewelry is soooo affordable that people still want it for themselves and for gifts. As for the commitment...it's what you want it to be. The company doesnt pressure you. I put most of my effort into Fall/Winter and sort of take a break in the spring...but still do a few shows here and there
