I really like the fiber one pancake mix. And to get them all the same size, I use a ladle that's 1/4 cup to pour each one out.

Re: pancakes
Get complete pancake mix and add water. Use a nonstick pan, spray it with Pam and make them half the size of the ones you see in diners - easier to manage flipping them. Once you see the tops start to bubble up a bit, flip 'em.
P.S. I add pumpkin butter from Trader Joe's to mine in the fall/winter...sooo good.

Re: pancakes
I use fiber one mix or bisquick and follow the direction on the package to make the mix. I also add choc chips my fav. drop less than 1/3-1/4 c for each pancake I can only fit 3 in my pan at a time. I use meauring cups to put in the pan to keep them uniform for cooking. Let them be. Have them cook on one side for 3 minutes you will see big bubble around the edge and them start to fluff up. Then flip and cook2-3 minutes on the other side.

Re: pancakes
Just try making them smaller. It's easier to manage and they cook more evenly!

Re: pancakes
the key is definitely waiting for them to bubble! premature flipping always ruins pancakes for me

Re: pancakes
You have to wait until they are kind of bubbling on the first side, then you flip and you really don't cook them for that much longer.

Re: pancakes
If you're not using a really good pan or non-stick pan, they will not cook properly. The heat cannot be high, at all! Must be medium. Do not pour in too much batter or you will have a large, unevenly cooked mess on your hands.

Re: pancakes
FH follows the recipe on the Bisquick box. like others said once they bubble, flip. then he removes them rather quickly

Exactly. It's very easy as long as you flip at the right time! I love my griddle for this!
