Ok, YES I'm happy but I am kind of freaking out. I sold my condo today. It only took 5 freaking months....The market right now is a NIGHTMARE & I actually wopund up selling it for $15K LESS than I bought it for 2 years ago but we had to sell ASAP. The baby is coming & we have a 1 bedroom in the city, It wasn't going to work.
Ok now for the stressful part: The buyer is SO EAGER to have my condo that she wants to close on March 30th. I am due March 14th but they think I may go early. Um, how the HELL am I going to have a baby & move within weeks of each other? AND lets not forget that I have my wedding in 94 DAYS!!!!
How am I going to pull this off???? I am freaking out.

Re: Panic attack
oh wow! Do you have a new place already? Personally, if it were me, I would totally focus on myself & the baby & maybe have either my mom or good friend help out & beg her to take off some time from work for you & the baby. I'd let FH & his friends take care of the move. You have enough to worry about with the baby & his/her health as well as your own.

Hire a mover!!!! That way you dont have to stress and you can focus on you and your baby

Re: Panic attack
STOP!! Take a deep breath! now BREATHE Good, now that you have resumed breathing and giving your baby oxygen you can move on
It will all work out. My best advice is to start by packing a few boxes everyday. Start by taking stuff off the walls. Packing up knick nacks. Pack your summer clothes and anything else you don't use on a regular basis. Don't try to do it all in one weekend! Trust me! Until recently I had moved 4 times in 6 years!!! The best thing is to do it little by little. I'm sure you can also get some friends to come and help. Especially if you supply food and drinks!!

Oh, that's the other thing.... WE DON'T KNOW WHERE WE ARE MOVING INTO. There is no way I can pull off trying to find a place to buy in 3 weeks when I am due so we need to rent for a littel while.
Panting. sweating, sobbing with fear....

Re: Panic attack
You may need to tell your agent that March 30 is too soon and the buyer may have to wait a little bit longer. Is that an option??

Re: Panic attack
listen everything will fall into place.. things always happen for a reason! And remember- you have your FH to do all of the moving. Do you have family or friends who can help him? some of the groomsmen?
itll work out, it really will!

Unfortunately, its not an option. It was the only way she would buy it. I considered turning the offer down but its the ONLY offer we have gotten in over 5 months.

Re: Panic attack
OK, you need to relax. You are stressing too much, I am sure baby is not liking it.
First, may be, you need to think of keeping your apt for a little longer and wait for a better offer that is more favorable to you. Plus I am sure in another few months, market will start to pick up. If you compare the pros & cons of living in a 1bdr with a baby vs. stressing out through your last pregnancy days, hm..... Think twice!
Secondly, our friends are looking to buy. From what I understood it is 1 bdr in the city???? If you want, FM me with details. I might be able to pass the info on to them.
Take it easy!

Okay, relax--it will all work out.
Right now you should just focus on you and the baby. When moving time comes, you will have plenty of help--FH, parents, friends...It will all work out.

OH MY GOD YOU GUYS.... DO YOU KNOW WHAT I JUST REALIZED TODAY??????
I sent my invitations off to the printer the other day & on the return address on the envelopes AND the reply cards I have my current address. I am moving out of there in FOUR WEEKS. I have to get everything REPRINTED!!!
For the first time in my life, I literally have to use the phrase 'stop the presses!!!'
Now I am in a full blown sweat. Wet with panic. (Ok, matbe I'm exaggerating a little.) Its not the end of the world but its annoying...

Re: Panic attack
I just moved a few months before my wedding and honestly it was tough. I moved from one house to another so there was alot to do but I do think renting is your best way to go for now. Also do some research on hiring movers (its one of those businesses that you can really get taken advantage of or even have a con job done on you). Buying property is stressful and at least now you can relax and do the baby and wedding thing before you have to worry about going back out there. At times I felt like buying my home was a 2nd job. I moved from one big house to another big house in one day and I literally touched nothing because the movers moved in my stuff and placed it in the proper rooms. As far as unpacking I would recruit friends. With help it should take you a day or two. You would be surprised. good luck

Re: Panic attack - UPDATE
You will be able to do it... because you have to!
FH and I moved into our first apartment on May 18th and I gave birth to our first child on May 22nd. I spent ONE NIGHT in our new place before I was admitted to the hospital! FH set up the nursery while I was in the hospital.
It might not have been the IDEAL situation - but it all works out!
