and here's what I have left: Book limos Book Makeup artist Tuxes/ GM gifts Get marriage license Meet with priest book organist / singer Get my shoes, undergarments and bag Get unity candles and rose petals Waiting for BM dresses to come in!! Ordered in APRIL! ~from RK Bridal - I was there on Friday , 1st they told me they were in and then they weren't - I have a bad feeling they are lost or something....and I am moving 8/1 and I told them not to ship to my old address if it is after 8/1! Book wedding night hotel.
Each day I realize more and more things to do. I feel like I am SO behind. Once I move on 8/1 and get settled in I think I can tackle a lot of things. I'm just in full blown panic mode
Edited to add: OH YEAH and I haven't sent out the invites yet - goal is for Friday!

Don't panic, Jen I'm no expert (trust me, I 'm not). First, focus on moving, and nothing but moving. Then, when you're relatively comfortable, decide that each week that you will cross off a few things on the list - make it a point to do it no matter what.

Re: Panic Button Pressed!!!!!!!!!
are they any others you can delegate tasks to? Like the unity candle? Limos? Tell you MOH to take care of the BM dresses and RK Bridal.

I felt like that, too. Don't worry, it really all manages to get done, it only feels impossible!
I agree with Jenn. Limos are easy, but you don't want to wait too long. They book up, especially the popular companies.
Just tackle one thing at a time, and you'll be fine!
We all felt like this at one point.

Re: Panic Button Pressed!!!!!!!!!
Can you book your organist through the church? Ask the priest when you meet with him.
Let the guys handle their tuxes (unless they are really fashion challenged, most guys can handle this)
Get shoes soon, so you can break them in and have them for fittings.
Everything will fall into place.

Jen- Don't worry! Maybe we can meet up and I can help you with some stuff during lunch or after work. I make a new appt with a make-up artist- I am going on 8/1 so I can give you her info and let you know how it goes.

Don't panic!!! Take a deep breath!!! Two months before my wedding, I was in the same boat as you. However, I was able to get things done! Just don't panic and set aside some time this week to tackle your list! Good luck!!

Re: Panic Button Pressed!!!!!!!!!
Sorry I can't help much but just want to say that I'm in the same boat. My stomach has been in knots since Saturday and I'm having trouble eating. The only thing thats helping is to make lists. And more lists. Then set aside a few hours that you can accomplish some things and cross stuff off the list. Crossing things off feels SO good!
It will all work out - at least it seems that way for everyone here so I'm crossing my fingers that it works out for us too!

Re: Panic Button Pressed!!!!!!!!!
What got me through all of the stress and the worries of getting nothing done was this thought - you only need your FI, an officiant, and the marriage license to have your wedding. Everything else is just extra! And getting the marriage license is pretty easy. We did it the Monday before we got married. Good luck!

Re: Panic Button Pressed!!!!!!!!!
go one step at a time. Prioritize. Call the church, because they can often be hard to reach. Tehy might have an organist too.
Call make-up people, and book a trial, so you have time to find another if you are unhappy.
Get the supplies you need to make items, so you can do them at night, when you have free time.
Undergarments you should have for your fitting, so get them too. Maybe your bridal store has them?
