Panic! UPDATE- thank the lord!!

My friends sister is leaving for vacation tomorrow and she had been waiting on her passport forever and she just found out today that she was denied b/c her license didn't match her current address b/c she had just moved at the time she applied....(she now had to go all the way into the city to get this straightened out)

My address doesn't match my license either b/c I had moved from Mineola to back home and didn't change it b/c FH & I bought a house plus we were getting married in a few months so to go through changing the address and then a few months later having to change it again for my last name wasn't worth it but now I'm in PANIC MODE and trying to talk to ANYONE there is impossible......

I hate this passport S H I T it has been nothing but a pain in the A S S!!!!

They have my birth certificate WHAT more do they want!!!!!

UPDATE: Thank the lord!! it's being sent out the 16th & I should have it on the 20th!!! She said some agencies are more strict then others and her name could've just not been coming up anywhere under her new address & that they would need her to just bring in another form of proof!

Holy Moly....I'm so relieved!

have u checked the status of ur application? u can go to the passport website and check it there. mine said not found, so i paniced and i emailed them. they said its currently being processed and the website is a little behind.

FH did and it said 'being processed'

ohh, okay i'm not sure how this works then.

but my dad just had his renewed, and it came back in less than a week! he paid to overnight it to the passport place, then also included a return overnight shipping envelope (prepaid) with it so they could send it back in that...

Great news! Who needs that stress now? Glad that yours will be in hand soon!!

omg I hated the whole passport process, and trying to get in touch w/ someone was like impossible!!!

I had to get up at like 6:30am to call, and still didn't get through for like an hour!

Mine arrived like 5 days before I went to the Bahamas!
I was sweating it!

I was so worried about this whole passport thing, and honestly I got it in 2 weeks. They told me eight weeks, but I 'm just so glad that I have it in my hands after all of the stories you hear.

I'm glad it worked out for you. . it's a big relieve when you finally get it.

My passport is still not here and We leave for our honeymoon on April 24th I can't get through and their next appointment is April 24 (our departure date)

I don't need this stress now. My wedding is next week. I wish I could just show up at the agency and DEMAND my passport. I have to pray about this

I did change it through the dmv... and registration... so hopefully i will be ok
