Okay girls I really need some help. I am full out panicking/freaking out about wedding favors. Two weeks ago I finally decided what I wanted to do, Mikasa Celebrations Bud Vases.. they were 9.95 each, but since I would be ordering 110, they would give me a 10% discount. They also had 400 in stock then. I just wanted to wait for the rest of the responses before placing my order to make sure I had enough.
Today I go onto their website, and they are now backordered! I call, and they don't know when they are getting them in! I don't know what to do. I have no idea what else to do. I want something classy, preferibly namebrand, but not $30 a piece! Aiming to stay around 10-15 each. Lenox, Mikasa or something like that... but again, not a fortune. Something useful, not overdone...
Please help! The wedding is in 30 days!

If you check out the clearance section of Mikasa they have some really nice stuff there, I would call and ask if they would give you a discounted price if you ordered in bulk. I would try to order asap and if you order more, you can always try to sell it again on ebay or here in LIW (if you have a small amount maybe shower or host gift)
what about giving a martini glass or wine glasses?

thanks for the ideas. i did call mikasa though, they are who told me it was backordered... they did say they give a 10% discount for buying in bulk. i really like the idea of a vase, i just can't find one that is as good of a price as the celebrations budvase. ugh !

originally $60 bud vase now $8.97!! But i assume you´ll have to call macys to see how many they have.

If not look around the site or go to different sites and check the clearance sections. The only prob youmight run into is qty. worst case scenerio maybe you could get different designs.
thank you for trying... i actually called the woman who runs that website, and she gets it from mikasa. so if mikasa doesn't have any, she can't get them :(
who else makes nice crystal/glass that's not too expensive? i can't think!

Why don't you try the Lenox outlet in Riverhead. They even have a Pottery Barn outlet that may have something nice.
but I didn't order online. I went to the store in New Hyde Park. We just gave them our final count and they put the order in last week. you may still have sometime. they have a lot of options there.
that bottom vase is the one i want but cant get ! :(
the one i top, i emailed them about earlier today, still waiting for a response...

I remember seeing them at peter Andrews but I don't remember the price. But a lot of the other suggestions are really similar

Try Century 21 Department Stores, Marshall's Home Goods, Lot Less, they carry Mikasa and Lenox glasswares, vases, crystals, etc. and it cost a lot less than retail prices (Macys, etc.).

the only thing about going to stores is that i don't think that they'll have 110 in stock, especially a place like an outlet or marshals....
might have to settle with the heart shaped dish,not really what i wanted though :(
