Pant Suit for MOG

Pant Suit for MOG

FMIL said that she has short stubby legs and hates her feet and so doesn´t want a knee length skirt but long skirts scare her because she thinks she´ll fall. (she´s cute because she worries about everything. she even gets nervous on elevators and escalators!). She asked if she could wear some sort of pant suit.

I told her I didn´t care as long as she was comfortable but she´s worried it will look odd. What do you guys think? Have you ever seen this? Any pics would be great. I´m going to start searching now myself.

No pics, but that would definitely be fine. She shoudl wear whatever makes her comfortable.

Should be OK, I know they make very dressy pant suits and if that is what she will feel comfortable in, that's what she should wear!

My mom also wants to wear a pantsuit - I think it'll look great. They have really pretty ones nowadays, and if your FMIL is comfortable and happy, she'll enjoy the day fully.

Thanks guys!! That´s what I thought too. She was just unsure. She is a little insecure sometimes. I´m going to see if I can find some pics for her to see. Maybe then she´ll be more convinced.

I don't see a problem with it. If she's worried about pictures they make pant suits with the flowy legs that are dressy and classy and can give the illusion of a dress. Look around, I'm sure she can find something.

FH actually has said that he thinks his mom will wear a pants suit. He's never seen her in a dress or skirt lol.

My mom wants to wear a pants suit too as she has never worn a dress in her life. My BIL's sister got married 2 years ago and their mom found a beautiful pants suit in Macy's.... It was gorgeous.. let me know if and where u find them please. We haven't started looking yet

I´ll post when find them but I prob won´t be looking until about a month before the wedding or just buying it down here (in Ecuador) We can´t buy it yet because she still has to apply for a Visa. I hope that they don´t give her a problem with it. A month may be cutting it close though. Maybe I should look while I´m in NY. Anyway, if I see some I will post where. It seems that a lot more people do this than I thought. I´m going to tell her so she can feel more comfortable about her decision.

My mom wants pants too and I'm totally ok with that. I know she often finds fancy jackets in Macy's, Bloomies and Lord & Taylor, then finds simple pants to match.

My mother insisted on this for a while because she's had several surgeries this year on her leg and it remains wrapped and she didn't want to answer the 'what happened to your leg' question the entire day. I told her it was fine but she kept picking out palatzo (sp?) pants and I felt they weren't dressy enough.

There was a suit I saw in a bridal magazine that I fell in LOVE with, but its more for those tall, skinny girls, not so much for me (really short and curvy). I was thinking of wearing it for my RH, but as I said, it wouldn't look right on me.
BUT... I think it would look amazing on a MOB/MOG.

I looked online, but can't find it... BUT I found This

hope that helps

They have pants suits that are more dressy looking than business suits that you could get, and it would look totally appropriate (especially if she'll feel more comfortable). Something like these:
