i dunno...i know there used to be a rule against B2B posting on the NW board. I def agree that it would be annoying if brides were constantly posting about wedding stuff.

however, sometimes I lurk and see a post that I can give the NW info on but I hold back bc we aren't allowed to post.

i guess i can see it from both points of view.

yea me too!

i was lurking yesterday and saw that someone lost their baby and i sooooooooo wanted to give some and but i didn't bc i didn't want to break the rules

I find that post offensive, to be honest. Why should brides not be free to post on ANY of these boards - whether they are married or not? I seriously do NOT understand the territorial attitudes on LIW.

Very well put Kelley! The NW board was always just a place for NW. Someplacethat all brides would eventually end up on. So once the Newleyweds finally get to post...its not even 'elite' (for lack of a better word) anymore because EVERYONE'S postin on it!!

As far as the 'year boards' go...girls from all years just seem to post on all years.


But like you, Kelley, I can see it from both sides. In the end, we're just here to help each other and make friends.

I've posted once to b*tch someone out (haha i am the peacemaker after all lol) and to ask some question.

I feel like i'll get more of a response on there then on b2b or the 09' board.

I have to say that's one of the very very few things that bothers me about LIW... I don't get the terrortorial thing... it's an online message board

i think the whole rule about not allowing any1 who isnt married to post is just a way to make these newlyweds feel special.

lets face it, once your wedding is over...you're bored. and u feel depressed that theres nothing left to plan.. other than a baby (wire hanger, please)..

so let the newly weds have their own lil board..... let them feel 'special'

cuz i know my azz is going to be depressed once my wedding is over.
