My SIL just told me that I HAVE to wear pantyhose the day of my wedding? Really? I want open toe shoes and I didn't think that this was any issue. Can I forgoe pantyhose?

I didn't and never wear pantyhose...I HATE THEM!! I will wear tights occasionally but almost always go bare. I couldn't imagine wearing pantyhose in my dress the day of it would be so hot and a pain to get off when you need to use the bathroom! I say go bare!

that's what spanx are for (snuggy!). i do like tights and i think spanx makes the BEST but pantyhose are not as comfy to me.

pantyhouse should be banned in all situations. You will want to wear the least under your dress as possible......most dresses are bulky enough and hot!!!!

I'm with you, I love wearing tights. I might wear stockings with the garters or something sexy for FH. I'm also wearing closed toed shoes, so its different.

I got married in mid-July and the high was 93 that day... definitely did not wear pantyhose and never for one second did I consider it. You definitely do not have to.
Plus how weird would the whole garter thing be if you were wearing pantyhose?

Back when I wore pantyhose more often what I would actually wear were thigh highs. I loved those because you get the look of panyhose when you need them but not all the problems that come with it!!! Plus they stay up better and they look cuter!
Its a good idea about wearing that slip thing that is like shorts. What are Spanx? Is that a brand name? Its like a girdle of sorts right? (excuse my ignorance but I´ve been living out of the country for years!!)

Being 5'10' panty hose and I dont get along very well. I wear thigh highs if i have to. I am getting married in Jan and i dont care if its snowing I am not wearing any panty hose. There will be enough dress to keep me warm under there
