paper chair placecards?

has anyone tried to do the paper chair place cards? I need a new idea for placecards and thought I might try it. Does anyone have any other creative ideas?

They have adorable ones where the cards are separate from the chair. This is also a favor box. I think they are very cute.

These are from ebay but I know they sell them online..I just can't remember what store...

The ones pictured above are very cute (I thinky they were .99 each). They're from one of the websites that advertises in Martha Stewart's magazine (sorry, can't remember the name).

I ordered mini-chairs for placecards that don't have the favor box attached. Don't do it! I can't use them. I was going to hand write them instead putting them through the printer (they can't go through the printer), but there is a problem with them in general: They are much heavier in the back b/c of the back of the chair, and they keep falling over. With people walking past them and leaning over them to find their own they will all fall over.

At least with the favor box chairs there is something in them to weigh them down.

I know that 'JDAngel' on The Knot did them for her wedding and they looked really cute. If you go to the 'Somewhat Official Knottie Bio List' (you can find it with a Google search), there's a link to her bio. She did them in pink and green which was really cute

I love the ones with the box but already have favors...any suggestions of something else I can put in it if I use them? (Preferably something inexpensive!)
