Paper Storage

Now that my addiction is in full force I now need a 12X12 paper storage system--and here I laughed at the posts 2 short weeks ago!!!
Here is a site I found with a couple of solutions (Lisa-your solution is on there!!)

Re: Paper Storage

Those are pretty cool.

I keep re-sorting my papers by color or type and store them in those craft envelopes that can accomodate the 12x12 paper.

This weekend I got this cabinet that will fit everything (I hope ) The drawers will accomodate the 12x12 and the rest of the supplies into the bigger/deeper drawers.

We like that it matches our furniture but everything is reasonably accessable at the same time.

Ok, can't post a pic but here's the link...

Re: Paper Storage

Nice-- I like that it looks like a piece of furniture--
I like the ease of the cube that Lisa made but my only concern is when I want to store it away--so I am looking into the storage bin for hanging folders--although I am concerned that the paper will be on its side?

I'll have to look for it again, but I saw a crop bag on wheels that has a tray system similar to what Lisa has but it expands and collapses for full access or mobility.

Christine, I like that cabinet, very nice!
I use the Cropper Hopper Class Totes, I have two of them and they are full - I have a thing for paper, lol.

Re: Paper Storage

Ok so my paper issue has not been solved and it is getting worse--the drawer that I had been using is full and it is annoying to get paper out of--since I have to take ALL of it out

So I have been searching in stores for a solution but havent found any until this morning

I am going to beg DH to make this for me-- the wood that is in the pic matches my desk perfectly

Paper Storage

Does anyone have a Cropper Hopper? That is my second alternative if DH can't build this!!

That looks perfect!!

Re: Paper Storage

Of course there is always something--
DH says he needs special woodworking tools, Huh?
I thought with the trillion tools he has in the garage he could build a house let alone a simple cabinet--

so instead of spending all the money on stuff I am off to Costco to find that great deal I saw on Cubes!!!

Oh well I can dream!!!

Re: Paper Storage

Sounds like he wants to make trip to Home Depot or Lowes

I saw those wire cubes for 8.99 in Costco on Sunday.

Re: Paper Storage

ah...you should let him buy the tools!!! support his hobby!!! while supporting your own!!!

I think what he needs is something to make the notch to slide the shelves in...

Re: Paper Storage

yeah the notches were the problem so here I am going ' Can't you just make biscuits?!!' and he looks at me like I have 12 heads and goes' I don't have the machine to cut biscuits'

I watch way too many home improvement shows!!!!

Well I broke down =no patience and bought a case at M's with my coupon-- so until I fill it --it will have to do

Re: Paper Storage

thats nice...how much?

Laura Posted:

Re: Paper Storage

It was 19.99 and I used the coupon (it was nly 40% off though- should have waited for the 50% but who can wait )

I put all my paper in and it is not even a 1/4 full-- and that includes a pretty full slab and tons of other paper---

I am really happy with it

Re: Paper Storage

That's a nice case!!

Odd Job has them sometimes if you need to get more. I think they were $10-12 - someone at my scrap group saw them.
