Re: paradise bridal....

I am working with Paradise Bridal right now for my Best Friend's wedding. The people there are ok. Prices weren't bad either. My friend's gown was almost $1000.

I did find better prices at a woman's home in Northport. My gown will be in by the end of March and I ordered it in December. It was only $400.

I guess it all depends on where you are comfortable, but Paradise Bridal is not bad at all!

Re: paradise bridal....

I got my dress there. Donna helped me. There was another woman working there helping another bride and she did not seem helpful at all. So I would recommend using Donna she was extremely helpful and patient. I tried on a million gowns, and that was the only place I looked at dresses.

Re: paradise bridal....

Hi. This is only the second time I have posted anything, but here goes! My sister got married in July and she got her dress there and we all purchased our bm dresses there. The sales service was good and ordering was not an issue (prices were good too) but when it got down to fiitings it became a bad scene. My sister had to get fitted for her dress 4 times and each time it was like the seamstress was not listening to us. My other sister (one of the bm) also had a hard time to with fittings. They kept telling her the dress was fine even when the straps kept falling off. My fiances sister was in a wedding party and they all purchased their dresses there too and they had the same problems. One of the bm had to go back 5 times and they kept taking it in and letting it out and so on. They just could not get it right. My sister said she would not go to them if she could go back in time. Not to mention that it was virtually impossible to set up a fitting appt with them. They seemed to be very overwhelmed everytime we went there. Not the best experience. I would say go there only if you think you will not need to be fitted, otherwise don't. Good luck though. I thought finding a place to buy a dress was the hardest part of planning so far!
