Paradise Bridal

Anyone had any negative experiences with paradise bridal? not sure what to do!! My dress is in and im not happy, cried at my fitting!!! Took sooooo long for it to come in, now less than 3 weeks before my wedding Im not thrilled with it! Hopefully they will fix it but it is costing close to 400 additional $ for alterations! I feel like we are being taken advantage of b/c it so close to our wedding date! Any advise?

Re: Paradise Bridal

See if you can take it somewhere else! I have had a horrible experience with them but there are many girls that have had good experiences. I was always told they had a cap on the alterations though... why do you have to pay extra? I dont know what is wrong with your dress but if it is something where they are at fault you should not pay a dime for them to fix it!

Good luck and dont worry it will all come together and you will be beautiful!!

Re: Paradise Bridal

I had trouble with them recently for a wedding that I was a bridesmaid in. I asked to speak to the manager and got really angry when no one would help me. I ended up screaming at them but the truth was I came back in 2 days and my dress was perfect.

Re: Paradise Bridal

Although I have unfortunately read many negative reviews on here, I have to say my experience with them was completely positive - so there is hope! In all honestly, I wasn't in love with my dress at my first fitting either. I think bc you pick out the dress so far in advance, you have an image in your head of how it should look and then a year later when you see it, you remembered it differently. Plus when it isn't fitted to you it is hard to imagine how it will all come together. Not to mention the zillion other things running through your mind 3 weeks before your wedding! Luckily, by my 2nd fitting I loved my dress all over again, and hopefully you will have the same experience! Good luck!

Re: Paradise Bridal

I purchased my dress and had alterations through Paradise and I had a good experience although I had heard some negative ones as well. What happened during your fitting that you were unhappy with? I would insist that they correct it for no extra $$ and if you are still unhappy then take your dress somewhere else. You need to be happy with your dress and not have the stress.
