Has anyone had any experience with Paradise Bridal?

I just tried on some dresses there but haven't been back since that day, so I personally don't have an opinion of them one way or another. Though I did like this one thing they do there where they turn out the lights in the room you're trying on gowns so you can see what you'd look like with the lighting at your reception!

However, FSIL got her dress from there and I believe FMIL and the BMs all got their dresses from there and they could not have been happier with Paradise!

If you search on this site you'll read a lot of mixed reviews. Most everything I read mentioned that they loved working with the people when they picked their dress but that it was always a nightmare after that. Dresses were never ordered, people were given the run around or had major issues with alterations. It was enough for me not to go there but everyone's experiences are different.

I ordered my dress veil and my aunts dress from
them. I worked with Cherice and she was a doll. They have been nothing but great with me. I probably tried on half the dresses in the store and never once felt rushed. They give coupons an promos and stuff at bridal shows too!

I ordered my dress and BM dresses there as well. Now, I have been hearing not to get my dress alterations done there!?!?!?

i worked with cherise and donna (managers), but just (finally) ordered the other day.

i've had problems in the past with bridesmaid dresses and was really nervous. i actually broke down at one point because they got 3 different hollow to hems (3 different people measured). but, we got it all resolved and i shouldnt have many alterations there. we also put my date a month before actual to be safe.

i would also like to say that my friend got a bridal gown here and did not have any problems. (this was the wedding where i had problems with the bridesmaid dress)

i have heard stories about bm dress alterations at other stores not being done as well as bridal, so i felt like this may be an issue everywhere- the more 'senior' seamstresses do bridal?

I would NOT go there. I had a great experience with my consultant, Marge, but you can read the full story in my review. Basically they either lost/never ordered my dress and lied to me about it for weeks. There are other options!

I did not go there to even look. 2 good friends of mine ordered their dresses and bridesmaids dresses from there and both had A LOT of problems. One bride almost didn't even have a dress (long story but basically there was a hole in her dress and they didn't realize until it was too late, refused to compensate her with her another dress or really do anything at all to help. she had to go elsewhere and buy another dress off the rack 1 week before her wedding.) and the other just had issues with several of the bridemaids dresses being ordered wrong and staff not being helpful about the situation.

I got my dress,after them trying to pass off a dirty sample to me (my DOC was with me and can confirm this) 3 weeks before my wedding. He!!s no i did not do alterations there. I have a great seamstress that does it out of her house. I would rec. her to everyone!

If you didn't order your dress from Paradise- DONT. If you did- call them WEEKLY. They lie and take no responsibility for anything.

DO NOT GO THERE!!!!!

I ordered my engagement party dress there after they told me they could order it about a week later they told me that couldnt get it in and I would have to use the sample and they said they would give me a discounted price and FREE alerations because it was 2 sizes too big. Long Story Short. After all my alterations (2 days before my party) I went to pay and they wouldnt give me any discount AT ALL. I started flipping out on them and eventually got 10 percent off but had to pay ALL my alterations. MY engagement party dress when all said and done was about 700 dollars!!! I WOULD NEVER let ANYONE go there... they are a bunch of SCAM artists!!!

I've gotten a BM dress there for a wedding I was in about 5 years ago and had a terrible experience. But maybe things are better now?

I ordered my dress from there and they called and told me it was In.
Same with my bridesmaid dresses.
No issues so far
