Paradise Bridal Appt. tonite - anything I should know?
I'm going dress shopping for the first time tonite (yay) at Paradise Bridal in Patchogue - anything I should know from your experience? TIA

I am only telling you my experience. My SIL got used them in October for her wedding, and everything went wrong... Her dress was ordered 9 months before the wedding and came in 1 week before the wedding. I was the maid of honor and I got my dress there. They ordered my dress 4 sizes TOO BIG and when I got it altered, the dress lost its shape. My SIL will say that place was terrible....I have heard people doing very well there. I think it is a hit and miss when it comes to service..that is basically all places though.

I had a great experience when I went there to try dresses on... they had a great selection... however, once i ordered the dresses it all went down hill from there... check out my review if you want the details...
But enjoy the searching process!! I had a great experience there trying on all the different gowns... have fun!!

My SIL and my MOH both had great experiences there for their dresses and all of their girls. I think it depends on the situation. You could say things go wrong anywhere. I ordered my dress there- my girl is Stephanie, you should ask for her, she works Thursday's at 5pm, she is great!

i ordered my dress there in february, and it came in in april, i have had no problems (knock on wood) we just ordered the bm dresses there last night (and they got 10% off since i got my dress from there) good luck!!

I bought my dress from there and so far (knock on wood) no problems.....I recommend Jo Jo to help you. She is one of the best people there. There was another woman with red hair..not sure of her name...she seemed great too. There are a lot of jo's there....but the person that helped me was jo jo. My dress came in under 2 or 3 months.....and everything looked great.....
I tried on a lot of dresses and everyone was super helpful. Jo Jo didn't try and sell me a million dollar dress and gave me dresses to try on that were what I was looking for....

I bought my dress there, ordered it in beginning May '05 and it came in end of Feb. '06. I worked with Paulina and she was a sweetheart, I had no problems with them. If you tell them your budget, they will only show you dresses in that range.
