Paradise Bridal in Hauppague?

Has anyone gotten their dress or their bridesmaid dresses here? I got both, and now I read some horror stories on google reviews and i'm panicking.

Can you please let me know your experiences? (Good or Bad)

Someone I know had a pretty bad experience dealing with them - BM dresses came in a week before her wedding and they were very rude and unaccomodating to her (she ordered them 10 months before).

My FH rented a Tux from their twice and both times was very unsatisfied.

But, I know another person who got their dress there and had no issues at all. I guess it just depends

my friend also had an awful experience with them last yr for her wedding. they ordered one of her bm's dresses two sizes too big and then tried saying that she must have lost a lot of weight and wanted to charge her for the alteration!!

two different friends of mine both got married in the past year had pretty bad experiences at paradise.. but then again i know someone who had a really good experience there previously... I think there's a chance there will be problems anywhere you go, it depends who it is you are working with and how helpful they are to you.

Based on everything I see on LIW... Paradise Bridal has significantly worse reviews than any other bridal store. The problems occur after the dress has been ordered. I'd explore different options. There plenty of places to choose from on LI! Save yourself the stress.

Paradise Bridal in Hauppague?

I ordered from Paradise but I worked directly with one of the managers (Cherise). I'm keeping my fingers crossed that because she was so good for the 2 times I was there shopping that it will be a positive experience.

I already placed my orders (my gown and all my bridesmaids gowns). I feel like the woman I spoke to yesterday kind of blew me off. I am goign to call back today or tomorrow and ask to speak with the girl that helped me with my gown (Fanny). She was really good and made me feel at ease. The other woman I spoke to yesterday sounded like she was rushing me off the phone and wasn't even looking at my file.

I'm really freaking out :/

don't worry! everyone has different experiences no matter where they go. just stay on top of things no matter how annoyed they get at you. make sure to keep calling and following up and confirming details.

Thank you for the encouraging words. My bridesmaids have said the same thing. I'm going to call back and hopefully they will handle it.

I only ordered my dress about a month ago so I havent had to really contact them for anything since I signed the order form. I would have to think that they do have some good business practices or they wouldnt still be there right? Im keeping my hopes up that this will be a plesant experience. Im planning on taking my BMs there for their dresses as well because I was told they would recieve a discount because of me ordering there too...

Angelicd77 the discount is only 10% and the biggest complaints I am hearing about is the bridesmaids section! I am hoping to speak to my consultant today and resolve and reassure.

I ordered my gown from there and it was a wonderful experience.

I know its 10%, which is more then any other store offered me, thats why I was planning on going with them for the BMs as well. I had a wonderful experience with my dress as well. I feel like mabye they treat the brides differently then the bms becuase the majority of their money comes from the brides...

DO NOT GO THERE!!!!!!!!

My consultant was fabulous but it all went downhill from there.

My dress supposedly took over a year to come in- and when I demanded to see proof that they even ordered it, they refused.

Then, they tried to pass off a dirty dress with runs all over it to me.

Luckily my DOC helped me in getting them to rush a new dress to me- 3 weeks before I told them my wedding was taking place! Thank God I lied!

I ordered my wedding dress there before I looked at all these negative reviews, I went there to look at bridesmaids dresses and confirmed that the dress was ordered (the lady showed me the form). They offered me a 10% discount for bridesmaid dresses but I was too nervous to take the chance, I ordered my bm dresses from Bayshore Bridal and they gave me a 10% discount. Ill be stalking them starting in December to see when my dress is coming in.

I ordered my gown from there and everything has been great. I have my 1st fitting in like 2 weeks. I'll keep you posted.
