Ok very confused. Found the dress i love in Bridal Suite in Bayshore...loved Mary Ellen! Didn't really find girls' dresses there. They can order the gown in Paradise Bridal but they dont have the sample there but they were wonderful too. Found the BM's gowns in Paradise Bridal but Bridal Suite in Bay Shore can order them too. I have a total of 19 dresses to buy between me, MOTB, MOTG, 1 maid of honor, 10 bridesmaids, 2 junior bridesmaids, and 3 flower girls. Prices were nearly identical at both. Please help: Bridal Suite in Bay Shore or Paradise Bridal in Patchogue?
Please let me know about all of your experiences..both good and bad!

I worked with Mary Ellen too- she was great.I havent dealt with them for fittings yet so I'm not sure how that will go. If everything is identical, they the main concern would be who has the better feedback for fittings and such.

I had a mixed experience with Paradise Bridal. They were great when it came to my dress, but TERRIBLE with my BM's dress. Details are in my review: Review . HTH!

I used Paradise Bridal and it was the worst experience I have EVER had in my life with regards to weddings. If you use them first of all give them the wrong wedding date....and take your dress elsewhere for alterations!
They were fantastic until I ordered with them

Re: Paradise Bridal vs Bridal Suite in Bay Shore
i've also had tons of trouble with paradise bridal. i've always planned on getting my alterations done elsewhere (i got my prom dress there WAY back in the day and man did they f*ck up the alterations on that - and all i needed was the straps shortened), but they've been nothing but trouble when it comes to my dress. it JUST came in this past monday. we told them back when we ordered the dress last september that i live in AZ and would be back specific weekends and i needed the dress for alterations by early june. they assured the dress would be in by the end of march, so i wouldn't have a problem. well, it turns out, they decided on their own accord NOT to order my dress until the end of march and therefore, it wasn't in for the first fitting i scheduled with my seamstress and they couldn't guarentee it would be in by next weekend either. i wasn't planning on coming home in august, but since the dress wasn't in for my first fitting appt, i needed to schedule another one for august - an extra $300 plane ticket i didn't need. they've tried to blame it on the designer but that's a load of crap. also, i've had to bring my veil back three times (well, my mom has since i'm not there) because not once have they actually given me the ivory veil i ordered. i'm keeping my fingers crossed that when i'm home next weekend and go to pick everything up, that everything is ok. . .
however, i had absolutely no trouble with the BM dresses. i ordered the the first weekend in april, was told they'd be in mid-july and they came in mid-june and everything's cool. i'll be picking those up next weekend too.
but yeah, totally lie about your wedding date. like, tell them it's a couple of months before it actually is, or you might have a problem.

I ordered my dress from them. Well, my dress came in at it was too short. It was a hallow to hem dress for I needed to go down in my shoes, which ******! I have my second fitting on 7/24, I will let you know how it goes!

It looks like you have a little barganing power with so many dresses to purchase. I would call around to see who would give you the best price or like a 10% discount on your girls dresses if you purchase your dress there. Maybe that would help your decision. I am using Angel Bridals in East Islip and they have been wonderful to me! They lied to the maufacterer by a month to ensure my dress is in ontime...and it is already in and they have a great seamstress.

Thank you everyone! I'm completely re-evaluating where to order my dress from! I was originally leaning towards Paradise Bridal but now i'm not sure what to do cause Bay Shore Bridal Suite does not carry my bridesmaids gowns...AHHHH this is worse than picking a photographer!

Re: Paradise Bridal vs Bridal Suite in Bay Shore
I too had a bag experience with Paradise Bridal. They measured me wrong and if I hadn't lost the weight (literally 30lbs) the dress would not have fit. They also measured half my girls wrong and butchered half the bm dresses during alterations. My dress was altered nicely but like I said the bm dresses were aweful. I will never step foot in that store ever again. Sorry I am still a little bitter.

I just wanted to say thank you all so much for your wondeful advice!!! I ended up ordering all of the gowns from Bridal Suite in Bayshore and Mary Ellen was fantastic!! Because my bust is a lot bigger than my waist i was afraid to order my gown but i happened to try on the size in a sample and it fit my bust perfectly and Mary Ellen assured me that the alterations in the waist will be perfect! I'm so happy i finally ordered my gown today!! Thank you so much!!!

I didn't have much of a problem when I went to Paradise bridal. We ordered 1 BM, my dress, MOG, MOB and flower girl dresses. I had jojo as my bridal person and I loved her. My MIL also didn't have any problems with her dress. They do offer a 10% BM and mother dresses if you order your gown there. You just need to make sure that you order your dress early enough and just follow up. I did have one problem with our flower girl dresses but they did good on it and reordered it. I would recommend them........
