OK, so I am trying to decide between two dresses and wanted to find a place that carried both. That way I could try them both on one after the other, thinking that will help me make a decision.
They both are avaialable at Paradise Bridal in Patchouge. Has anyone gone here? Is it a nice place? And does anyone know approximately how long of a drive it is from Queens?

I live in Queens and that's where I ended up finding & buying my dress because FH's mother lives out there. It's a little bit of a ride. It's off exit 63 on the LIE so without traffic about 50mins. I found everyone there to be very helpful and the prices were great!

i went there to look at BM dresses... it's pretty nice - changing rooms were small...
it took me about a half hour from seaford (which is a half hour from Flushing, Queens)

I just ordered my dress and bridesmaids dresses from there. I have not hand any trouble with them in the past with bridesmaid dresses and my friend's wedding dress was great as well. Good luck!!!

I ordered my dress from there and paid full price as I did not know you could negotiate anyway, they told me if I order my BM dresses from there they will give me 10% off (I will negotiate this time)and if my FI rents all the tuxedos from there they will give him his for free.

Nice store I have been there. I live right in that section. I can walk there. They were willing to work out prices with me also. I was told that they would beat compet. I need to go back when I get to the whole dress shopping again.

To be honest with you....i've heard mixed things about this place.... but personally, i've never had an issue there (used them for 2 weddings i was a BM in) I'm actually probably going to go there. The rep Elaine is SOOO nice and very patient. I must have tried on about 25 dresses in a matter of 2 hours.. ... putting a veil on for each...taking a picture...the whole 9. I would recommend them overall!
Plus....i'm sure every place has had it's moment where one has a horrible experience. It happens.

If you go to this place, please make sure that you get a quote from netbride.com for the same dresses. They mark up their prices big-time. I found the same dress for $400 less on netbride.com. They will negotiate with you if you bring them a better price.

They let you take pictures in every dress??? The point of me going is cause I want to decide btwn two dresses. I might not end up buying from them, but they carry both, so thats why I am going there. So if I could take a pic in both dresses, that would be awesome!!

Paulina is awesome. I took pics in many dresses. Just make sure you negotiate the prices.

i tried on dresses there and had a great experience... i started having major problems after we placed our dress order... it turned into hell for my MIL and SIL... i luckily had a slight problem when i ordered a BM dress from there and took my dress else where to be altered... the full story is in my review if you are interested...
