Parameters - Eddie, DJ?

Does anyone out there have any feedback on Eddie of Parameters? He supposedly has done weddings across the country and is a very good DJ? Please let me know if anyone can recommend him or tell me what they've heard.

We met with Eddie b/c of great recommendations from this web site. His sample tape is excellent. However, he seems very different on the phone than when you meet him in person. I found him to be a little harsh when we were sitting down with him, yet so professional on the phone. We didn't go with Eddie b/c we wanted a second DJ/MC and he works alone. In addition, he couldn't give us an straight answer when we asked him who backs him up just 'In Case' something happens to him. Overall, I would meet with him because he seems to do very good work and he has gotten great feedback from the other girls on the site. It is an individual choice.

K.S. We booked Eddie for our wedding. We didn`t mind the fact that he works alone. He says he prefers it that way, as that`s the best way for him to keep his flow going, which I can completely understand and relate to. I work better alone myself, and like to do everything myself. So that wasn`t a concern for us. Especially since we didn`t want any heavy MC-ing. We just wanted someone spinning music, and just doing the bare minimum of what needs to be covered...like intros and such. So we didn`t feel we needed that extra person being there. If you think you might be interested, make an appointment to speak with him. The demo tape is excellent as are his credentials/resume, but you want to make sure you click with him or any vendor you consider. You want to make sure they can handle exactly what it is you`re asking of them. We feel Eddie will deliver exactly what we want. One of the deciding factors in choosing Eddie, besides the tape, was his outstanding sense of music. He looked over a short list we had put together of songs we`d want to hear and he ran through telling us which were great for getting people to dance, and which we might want to reconsider. At no point did he tell us to take something off the list, but he did give us his opinion, which we appreciated. Afterall, it`s his job to keep the dancefloor packed, and if he knows something might not work, we want to know before hand so we can make a final decision. Good Luck with your search!

It`s kind of hard to say since he doesn`t have set packages with prices. He works with you and listens to what you need before giving a price. But, we did meet with a few DJs and found his price for us to be competitive. The quotes we had received were between $1200-$1700. He came in at about the middle.
