Is anyone getting their parents albums, thank yous, etc made by someone other than your photographer? The photographer I'm leaning towards only offers wedding albums for myself/FH. I'm a bit weary of using an outside source to make the other albums and thank yous because I've heard about photos appearing blurry, etc. If you can recommend any places that you know do a great job I would appreciate it. Thanks!

I am doing my thank you's with my photographer, but my parent albums I will do through shutterfly or a similar website.

We aren't doing parent albums, we are just going to do a nice portrait for our parents. We are doing Thank Yous through shutterfly or snapfish

WE aren't doing them through our photographer. For two reasons really, we both have divorced parents which means 4 parent albums ( not the traditional two like every other package offers). Plus most of the photographers give you the same albums, we don't want that we want them personalized to who they are going to. The second huge reason is pricing, there are SO SO SO many websites and online resources to make your own beautiful wedding album for 1/20 the cost haha. You can make beautiful albums for like 50 dollars that look like the 800 dollar albums, and you can customize the pictures in them. :)

I did a photo album through shutterfly of my daughter's first year and it came out nice. I mean granted it is not a professional album but as long as the resolution of your photos is good the album will come out nice. Plus if you sign up on the website you constantly get emails for 40% off photo albums and other great deals.

For thank you cards my friend used shutterfly and they came out great. I'm not sure how well their albums are

Both our parents told us they dont need albums done, they can make them on shutterfly themselves.

That is so weird that you brought that up bc it popped up on my fb today as an ad. Well I guess it not that weird since everyone is selling your information these days....
