Re: parent gift help
How about a personalized frame so they can put your wedding picture in it.

I'm not sure what your budget it...but this is what I plan to do..not sure if i will go through with it depending on money situations as it gets closer to the wedding..
I actually am going to do it for both my and FH parents...
I am taking their wedding picture and going to get an oil painter and a nice frame and give it to them at the rehearsal dinner...I dont have any info yet on who does a good job of it but i think this is such a great idea!!!!!!!!

Re: parent gift help
My parents are paying for the bulk of the wedding, so we're getting them either cash for my mom to gamble in A.C. (she has been refraining from going since she's saving for the wedding, but she misses it SO much and has been going through withdrawals) or a weekend in Montauk, along with a gift certificate to Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, which is their fav. restaurant.
For my FH's mom (she's paying for the rehearsal dinner), I think we'll get a nice frame for their family picture that they'll take - and they'll be getting a parent album.
