FI and i really wanna get something REALLY nice for our parents.
My parents are footing the whole bill for the wedding and his parents gave us a HUGE chunk of cash for our co-op down payment.
Ideas?? Moms are easy but dads???? Thats why i wanna get gifts as a 'couple'.

Maybe a weekend away somewhere after the wedding? If they all get along well, maybe they could even go together.

We have a similar situation, my parents are footing a large chunk of the bill and his parents are giving us money to put towards a down payment on a house (after the wedding).
We decided we're sending them on trips.

WOW what generous parents! I wish I could say we were in the same boat, lol... trips sound nice! maybe tickets to plays in the city too?

I think we are going to give my parents tickets to a broadway show and stay in a hotel in the city. They are paying for the reception, and all of my stuff. For his parents, I think we are going to give them a wine of the month club subscription for six months.

We're doing the weekend away thing. We were thinking Mohegan Sun, with a day of beauty for the moms and rounds of golf for our dads.

Those are great ideas!
It worked out this year that we got extra weeks for our timeshare and my FH has a condo on the beach in Myrtle so my parents are going there and his parents are doing the timeshare thing. They were both given both options. Otherwise they wouldn't be getting sent away for so long unfortunately.
