Parent Gifts?

Parent Gifts?

I need to buy my parents A gift and In laws a gift. What in the world do I buy?

for their wedding gift - we got them their parent albums.
we had the albums made and gave them to them at the rehearsal dinner, and then they can pick 20 proofs that they like to fill it and we're paying to have the prints made.
the parent albums weren't included in our photographer conract, so we're paying extra for those pictures...we thought it was plenty generous!!!

That is a great GIFT. I think ours are included. I should have thought of that Before we booked.

I think that we are going to give them parent albums as well.. they really want one and it isn't included in our contract either

hmmm...parent albums weren't included in our photo package but I added them w/o even thinking of making it their gifts.

Now that I think of it, the 2 parents albums cost over $1500 (combined) extra !! I was just going to give the albums to them cause I just figured thats what we're supposed to do but I think we can definitely make that their gifts!! Not that I am trying to duck out on buying more gifts but we are spending so much already and I know they would be more than happy with the albums as gifts! Do you guys agree?

Phew, thanks!! One less thing to worry about!

But to answer your original question, I wasn't sure what to buy the parents wither...I was thinking maybe bracelets for moms and pocket watches for dads...nothing too expensive but more of a token of appreciation. Good luck!

We gave our parents each $100 gift certificates to really nice restaurants and we just ordered enlargements of wedding pics that we are going to have framed for them. Oh and for my dad, I found a really old picture of him holding me as a baby. It was a precious picture and I put it in a frame that said Daddy's Little Girl and I also did a pic in a frame for my mom and gave her a little book with poems for mothers and daughters.

i think that the parents albums are a great gift but if you want to get the something as a token gift to give them at the wedding the gift certificate idea is wonderful.
