parent gifts

What is everyone getting their mom and dad? I have no clue where to even start!

Wedding hankies or maybe a watch or money clips for your Dad? I had a hard time with this also...I believe FH is giving his Dad a watch and his Mom a embroidered hanky. I am planning on writing a poem and have them print it on the box on weddinghankies.com for both my parents. Everytime I sit down to write it, I get writer's block though...grrrr.

Some other good ideas that some girls have posted was gc's to salons or restaurants or the movies, depending on what your parents like.

we got our dads the same as gms gifts - the engraved swiss army knives. my mom I got earrings and he is still working on his mom.

Kelly...if you like the poem idea with the hankies, go to www.weddinghankies.com and they have premade poems on there as well. I am thinking of doing that for my aunt who is helping out a lot and this way I don't have to be THAT creative in almost a month to go!

We brought our parents wedding hankies. Each hankie has a poem attached to the box and on our mother's hankie, there is a crystal heart and on our father's hankie, there is an angel pin.
