what is everyone doing for parent gifts? FH and I are stumped. We think a gift card to somewhere is generic and want to do something to show our appreciation and also to remind them of the day
thanks

No problem. I've stayed there once already and I can't wait to go back. They have 3 different hotels and all of them are great. I still think the best time of year to go (other than Halloween) is in the winter. Massachusetts in the snow is beautiful.

Haha we're thinking a bouzouki for FH's father b/c he always talks about how he used to play it when he was a kid in Greece and how his mom would slap him in the head and tell him to be serious and not waste his time with music...
For moms & grandma we're doing jewelery, and nooooo idea what to do for my step dad.
My grandpa's walking me down the isle, no idea what to get him either..

Re: parent gifts
They sell gift certificates for B&B. I think through b&b.com
You can usually buy them in the stores, I bought one a few years ago from Costco for my parents.

Re: parent gifts
I wish I could get my parents anything they wanted or needed!! We just bought a house and have no money to buy them what they deserve, so we are going to get them a beautiful frame and give them one of our engagement photos.. they loved them, so I think that will be a sentimental gift... maybe with a poem... and then we will give them a wedding picture after the wedding... I wish I could buy them a week wherever they want to go!! I just cant afford it!!!
