Parent Gifts!!!

Hi Ladies,

I need your help!!! FH and I are paying for some details of the wedding, but the majority is being taken care of by our parents.

Please suggest gifts that we can get for our parents to show our appreciation!!!

I love the idea of embroidered hankies like the ones you find on etsy, with little poems on them (like this ).... but it sounds like you're wanting to do something a little more substantial??? My parents are paying for our entire wedding (and giving us money toward a house.. sooo generous) and I was thinking of sending them for a night or two on a little mini-getaway at a nice hotel (their anniversary is right after our wedding also). Another idea is gift certificate(s) to a nice restaurant.

Also, another idea... FSIL and FBIL gave the parents a nice frame with a photo of them in it, as their thank-yous.

The hankies are very sentimental, special gifts....I definitely second that idea. Also, on Etsy, there are some really great vendors for personalized photo frames....some of the handpainted wooden ones are so beautiful...check 'em out.

A personalized frame with beautiful wedding photo would be very memorable, I think.
