Parent gifts

Parent gifts

I have no idea what to get my parents and FH's parents. My parents gave us a portion towards the reception (not a ton, but it was helpful) and FH's mom gave us a small amount towards our honeymoon. FH's father did not get us anything. (my parents are together, his are not). I want to get them something special and something that correlates to how much they gave us. I mean I want them to all be special, but I also want to thank those who did give the generous gifts if that makes sense. HELP! haha, TIA!

Parent gifts

I got my mother & future mother in law water globes from Things Remembered and had a nice little thank you note engraved on it...I gave my father a handkerchief that I embroidered myself saying 'I will always be you're little girl' (my FH's father passed away)...they all helped out a lot and we were on a tight budget...we gave them the gifts tonight & they loved them =)

We had some of my FMIL's hundreds of slides converted into digital files, and then created a photo book on snapfish out of them. My parents are more difficult, but I think I'll be doing the embroidered handkerchief idea and probably get them a gift certificate for dinner and ticket to see a broadway show. This continues a tradition that they started with their parents to thank them for their support with the wedding.

Both are parents are together and helped with money towards the wedding. We got them both their parent albums. I also got my dad an embroidered Hanki. My mom the wedding bell Pandora bead for her braclet. His father an engraved hunting knife and his mom and engraved jewelery box. Hth!
