PARENT GIFTS *ADDED QUESTION

Is anyone presenting their parents with gifts at the Rehearsal dinner? if yes., have ideas for me?

yes - my mom is getting the Lenox statue and my FHs parents will prob get a GC to an overnight stay at a hotel...

I haven't even thought of that yet....I've been to two and I didn't see the or present any gifts to anyone other than their BP.

Sorry for crashing...

We gave our parents gifts before the rehearsal dinner. We bought FH's mom a digital camera, my dad cufflinks from Tiffany's and my mom's DOJ.

Then at the rehearsal dinner we gave them the Lenox Invitation frame as a little something.

A friend of ours did a gift certificate for a Bed and Breakfast. This site allows you to use the gift certificate for TONS of B&B's all over the country and you can buy denominations starting @ $50.00. I thought it was a great idea and may do the same for our parents.

I thought it was great AND I know they have reputable B&B's on here because they have the B&B my FH and I stayed @ in Napa. (where he proposed!!) It's the most amazing B&B I ever stayed at. You can see that they have tons of B&B's in NY and LI (including the Hamptons and Greenport) so that your parents don't have to travel too far to use the gift certificate.

I did this for my parents anniversary last year, they LOVED it.

I want to do something for ours as well, maybe an engraved frame or something from Things remembered.

My FH's best friend and wife did it and they did GC for both sets of parents and they loved it.
I'm definitely contemplating doing this for our parents!!!

yeah my dad can't sit still, he needs action...my mom hates gambling though lol. I should think of a different plan for my parents.
