Parent Gifts...Ideas???

Let's start a thread..What gifts are you giving the parents????

We're not sure yet...and could use lots of help.

We are getting them tickets for a Broadway show and a gift certificate for dinner. so they can have a fun night in the city.

We're either doing this too, or a stay at a hotel in Montauk.

We got the moms a double 8x10 wall frame each. On one side will be the lyrics to the song we're dancing with them too (I'm dancing with my mom). On the otherside, when we get the pics, will be an 8x10 of us dancing with them to that song.

For FFIL and FSMIL, we got them a gift certificate for a couple's massage at a spa near them in Florida.

We got engraved champagne flutes for each set of parents to use at our reception.

We are giving our parents a frame engraved with the invitation and also a dvd holder engraved with our name and date.Invitation Fram

I got the mom's a handkerchief and will get a frame for an 8x10 photo from the wedding.

We had both of our parents wedding pics turned into oil paintings. The company is called Canvas on Demand and they came out awesome.

Gift Certificate to a North Fork Bed and Breakfast for a weekend.

They are going to Aruba this May, right after our wedding so we are probably going to get them tickets to a show on the island as well as a facial or massage at the resort spa for each. I may also get my mom a Nantucket basket, which she has always wanted.

Maybe tickets to see Elton John or Celine Dion while they're in Vegas this summer, or one of those wine cooling system things for my parents.
His parents are a little more difficult, they are divorced, and don't really DO anything or GO anywhere - So we're going to get his Dad cufflinks (same as the Groomsmen) and his mom...........we're still on the fence. Possibly a necklace to wear for the wedding.
