My wedding is only a couple of weeks away and I have NO idea what presents to get for both sets of parents!!! I was thinking about getting each a professional photo album done by our photographer along with each set of parents getting a DVD of the honeymoon which is included in our video package anyway. What does everyone think of this idea? Any other suggestions?

We are getting our dads exactly what we get the groomsmen which is cuff links engraved but we are also giving them a parents book & videos from teh wedding. Don't know what to get the moms yet.

That's a nice idea.
We got both sets of parents a Lenox double frame. I know my mom put our invitation in one side and a pic of me and DH with my folks in the other side. Not sure what DH's parents have done with theirs. But both sets of parents really liked them.
ETA- we're doing albums for them too, but this way we had something to give them at the rehearsal dinner.

Yes I know, that's what FH has been saying, what are we supposed to do at the reherseal dinner but there is absolutely nothing else to get the parents who already have everything or don't need anything!!!

try looking on this website for something they have some good ideas and are not expensive you can get them something from here and put alittle note in the gift bag saying that your also paying for the parent album http://www.personalizationmall.com/catalog.cfm?dest=index&csvd=33596647

with our photographer, all the packages are custom- and the parent albums are pretty expensive.
we are doing albums and videos for both my parents and fh's mom (his parents are not together) for his dad we will most likely do a gc of some kind- and we will give all of them nice frames at the rd.

Our parents didn't want a professional album so we got them their own one with our names engraved, which they loved. We also got them a lenox frame. I'll try to attach the picture
we get the video and an album for each in our package.
so we are giving gift certificates for each to dinner. and when we get the photos i will get a frame to put the pic of us and them in for each as well.

We got each set of parents an album, a video and these. Each parent got a hankie and each set of parents got the frame. I wrote a poem for each set of parents and created this and I got this for my dad. I had a pic of him & I in it from when I was young.
