Parents and invitations

Did everyone mail their parents the invitation? I told my parents that I sent mine outtoday and want to know why I mailed it instead of handing it to them. Should I have not mailed it?

i mailed the invitations to our parents also ... we thought it was 'cute' to do it that way

I'm handing my invitation to my parents and aunts and cousins who live near me.

my parents live 700 miles away... so yes.

otherwise i'd hand it to them.

i think its fine either way.

I didn't. I just gave them an invite as a keepsake.

we sent both sets of parents an invitation. if we had decided to hand it to them, we would totally have forgotten and they never would've gotten one.

i mailed them theirs. they thought i was crazy since its the same address for the RSVP, but i think they should get them in them mail.

I mailed them to his parents and siblings...and mine. His thought it was cute and fun. Mine thought it was a waste because we already know they are coming and they are family so there's no need!
