Parents gift

What is everyone getting their parents. I read the post about what to get MOB but I wanna get my mom and dad something together

im getting a brag book of my wedding album...its a mini album, but with alll my pictures

a gift certificate for a spa or B&B would be nice or a fancy dinner and movie to thank them

We are getting both parents a family crest with name history. It is gorgeous in person--I want one for FH and I!

im getting my parents a parents album and a t.v. for their bedroom

FILs are getting a parents album, tickets to a bway show and dinner in the city

Okay I got it. I will make them albums but I am going to give my parents a 2 sided frame one side with this poem and the other side empty for a wedding picture

Dear Mom & Dad,

You have been my guiding stars shining from above,
lighting every path I took with a parent's love.

Funny how I see it now, the light you’ve always shown.
I see it for the gift it’s been now that I am grown.

Every sacrifice you’ve given, every time you chose to praise,
you were laying a foundation for my life in many ways.

You made it seem so easy and what I should expect,
I now know that I owe you all my love and my respect.

Again your light is shining on this new path of my life,
I thank you both for all you’ve done as I become his wife.


For my FMIL I will do the same with this poem

To My Mom From Your Son

I don't know how to thank you for all you've given me,
your guidance, love and wisdom made the man I've come to be.

I've never seen more clearly all it took for you to raise,
a child into a man and to never ask for praise.

Soon I will be married and I hope in life I'll be,
half the person you have been and make you proud of me.

For all the years we've had and for all the years to come,
I am so very proud to be the one who you call son.

Thank You Mom for Everything.
