Is anyone getting their parents and future in laws gifts at the rehearsal dinner? I would like to get my FMIL something (they are helping us out with a loan and paying for the rehearsal dinner) but I have no idea what to get her? Should it be wedding related? She isn't a 'picture' person so a frame isn't the greatest idea. I might be getting my mom a necklace to wear to the wedding and the fathers watches.
Any help/suggestions would be great!
Thanks girls!

Re: Parents Gift Ideas?
The ILs are getting a pix frame from Mikasa then after the wedding we will give them a pix of us to put in it.
For my mom I am giving her a mommy's little girl frame, I am going to get a double side pix frame, one side is going to have a pix of me when I was little with my b-date at the top and on the other side will be my wedding date, I will give her a pix to put there after the wedding. Being an only child I know mommie will love this. Our dads are getting cufflinks

Re: Parents Gift Ideas?
She does like jewelry but has three sets for the wedding already and hasn't chosen between them. Maybe a hanky that is embroidered? Is that stupid? I am also having a hard time with FSIL who is in the bridal party, all the other girls are close friends and I have no trouble finding stuff for them. They are all getting jewelry for the day but having a hard time with extras for FSIL.

Re: Parents Gift Ideas?
a nice gift for FSIL can be manicure, massage & pedicure at a salon near you, who wouldn't love to go use it to be pampered! as for mom, an hanky is nice. you know your mom so i am sure you think of something to suit her

Re: Parents Gift Ideas?
We got our fathers cufflinks to wear with their tuxes and our moms earrings (to wear at the wedding or whenever).
I also made my mom a handkerchief (it was pretty easy to do) and my husband did a charcoal sketch of his parents from their wedding day and framed it. So we had traditional gifts plus some handmade gifts.

Where did you get your Mommy's Little Girl frame?
Does anyone know where I can get a hanky embroidered?
Thanks!

Re: Shamma96
I saw the hanky embroidered at exclusivelyweddings.com.
be careful of getting your mom a message...I thought my mom would love this...good thing I asked, b/c when I mentioned it, she said she would feel very uncomfortable to have someone touching her.

Re: Thanks!
I got each Mom a silver tussy-mussy with an engravable plate. I got them through eBay but they sell them all over.
If you don't know - a tussy mussy is basically a bouquet holder (the stems fit inside it) -- so they'll use it the dat of the wedding -- when they walk down the aisle they'll be carrying a small bouquet, instead of wearing a corsage.

Re: Thanks!
I am getting all of the Moms a hankie from www.weddinghankies.com They come with beautiful poems. I also saw some nice ones on other sites too. I was thinking of getting my Dad the Daddy's Girl photo frame, not sure. But since he is a crying foul at these things I might also get him the hankie.
