Re: parents gifts?
Mom/MIL/Best Woman all getting the same gift.... likely a diamond necklace. Which reminds, me I have to get on that this week.
We plan on giving the bridal party and our parents their gifts at the rehearsal dinner.
We don't have a RB but we're giving our FG some sort of jewelry to wear that day, as well as the book '10 Neat Things About Being a Flower Girl '

Re: parents gifts?
Our parent gifts are their albums... for obvious reasons we won't have those until well after the wedding. We will be giving each parent a card and stating in the card that our gift is their albums. In addition, both of our mothers are readers in the ceremony and both religious so we bought them each a gold & diamond cross (ok, I know we spent a lot on our Mom's but we are both MUCH closer w/ our Mom's and not so much with our Dad's).

My Mom: I got her a mother/daughter dancing figurine which states: 'Mother and daughter…a bond that can never be broken' (Me and my Mom used to turn the music up loud and dance in the hallway when I was little )
My dad: When my Mom and my Dad got married( he's my step dad, but he raised me so I call him Dad) he started dancing with us, so.. I got him a figurine with the same idea...
FHs Mom: The gift is from FH and its a throw blanket with a nice poem on it and its embroidered to say its from him on the bottom..
FHs Dad: a pocket watch that has his initials engraved on it and a picture of him and FH when FH was a baby..
We are paying for our own wedding, so we are doing small gifts. Here is what I've bought so far:
MOH - non wedding day bracelet from RedEnvelope, day of bag and day of hair Jr BM - scarf, day of bracelet, day of hair - still getting her a watch FG - day of bracelet, day of hair, 2 American Girl doll outfits RB - baseball bank BrotherOB - Mets pilsner glasses FOG - Boot beer glass MOB - Kate Spade travel cases
I still have to get for: MOG BM GM Readers

I too was out on the dark that you give them presents BUT, I love the idea!!!! So this is what I have come up w/so far.
My dad: no idea need to think bout this one My step-mom: no idea too but I will give them a album
FIL's: They LOVE to travel so I think a gift card to Liberty Travel is the best way to go plus an album.
As for my FG & RB I have no idea...
I guess I have A LOT of thinking to do

Re: parents gifts?
For the parents (we have three sets, mine, his dad and step mother, and his mom) we are giving them each a double frame that holds a picture and invitation. We will put the invitation from the wedding in there and give them a picture from the wedding. I'm also thinking about getting each parent a little something personal with our wedding date on it. Like for my dad he loves to golf so i was going to get balls made with our date and we have an ongoing joke about my mom being a lush (she's not) so I might get a wine glass engraved with our date.
As for the RB's and FG we got them each a build a bear and dressed them like them (so the boys animals are dressed in tuxes and the girl one is in a dress). We also got them gift cards to build a bear so they can get a new outfit for their new friend!

Re: parents gifts?
my parents i got a combination gift...a picture frame, new digital camera, and a $200 gift card for jet blue! they wanted to go away sooo bad after the wedding and have been dying for a new camera! so its prefect...i threw the picture frame in for sentimental value! lol it has a poem with it...
FIL's we got his mom a vase from the irish store to match a set she has already... and his father we got a decanter and glass set with his name engraved...hes a bit of a drinker.

Re: parents gifts?
We gave our parents their gifts at the RD.
DH's parents and my dad got Kenneth Cole watches, and my mom got tickets to see the Moody Blues at Mohegan Sun and a gift card for dinner there.

We're paying for our own wedding too. I bought my mom her gown and I'm paying for my Dad's tux rental. I'm also paying for their hotel room. Is this okay, or should i get them more??

Re: parents gifts?
As a gift to our parents we paid for their parent albums, as they were not included in our package. They were quite expensive, and we knew they were really going to want them.
We only had ring boys, and we got them a digital fisher price camera. They loved it. It is so kid friendly you can drop it, bang it, put it in water, and it has two hand grips and a double eye viewer. Our boys were 3 & 6 and the 3yr old did great with it. It was so cute b/c they used it to take pics at the wedding.
